چکیده
Background: The prevalence of pediatric asthma in China is approximately 3%, and remains poorly controlled many these patients. This study assessed the rate adherence to home nebulizer treatment paediatric patients China. Methods: CARE was a 12-week, multicentre, prospective, observational across 12 tertiary hospitals Patients were aged 0–14 years, clinically diagnosed with prescribed inhaled corticosteroid (ICS) therapy for ?3 months. primary endpoint electronically monitored adherence. attended onsite visits at 0, 4, 8 weeks assess control, severity (recorded by electronic monitoring devices caregivers). Results: full analysis set included 510 Median reported 69.9%, median caregiver-reported 77.9%. proportion well-controlled increased from 12.0% baseline 77.5% visit 4. Increased time between diagnosis enrolment significant predictor better [coefficient: 0.01, p = 0.0138; 95% confidence interval (CI): 0.00, 0.01] control (odds ratio 1.001, 0.0498; CI: 1.000, 1.002). Negative attitude caregiver associated poorer control. Conclusions: Adherence nebulization, widely used asthma, high among Chinese Asthma improved increasing duration. These results suggest that nebulization ICS an effective recommendable long-term asthma.
